H1NI VACCINATIONS NOW AVAILABLE
Additional H1N1 vaccines have just arrived at the 87th Medical Group. Vaccinations will be administered to high risk individuals only. High risk individuals are those who are pregnant or family members who have children under the age of six months. Recipients of the vaccine must be at least four years old. Report to the 87th MDG immunization clinic if eligible and wish to receive this vaccine. Immunization clinic is open Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., The first Friday of the month it is open from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
87 MDG OUT OF H1N1 FLU VACCINATIONS
Effective Dec. 17, the 87th Medical Group will offer H1N1 vaccinations to ALL ENROLLED beneficiaries 2 years old and up. The vaccine will be available until all supplies are exhausted.
The 87 MDG Immunizations Clinic is located at 3458 Neely Road on McGuire. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Seasonal Flu Vaccinations Now Available
Effective Nov. 2, the 87th Medical Group Immunization Clinic (located at 3458 Neely Rd on McGuire) will offer seasonal flu vaccinations to all ID card carriers. Due to current shortages of seasonal flu vaccines in the local area, remaining supplies will be exhausted quickly. Enrolled beneficiaries are highly encouraged to get vaccinated by Oct. 30.
Vaccines of all types (for all ages and health conditions) are currently available. The Centers for Disease Control continues to recommend getting the seasonal flu vaccination ASAP followed by the H1N1 vaccine when available. Do not delay seasonal flu vaccination to wait on the H1N1 vaccine - there will be plenty of H1N1 vaccine available.
This is NOT the H1N1 Flu vaccine, this is the seasonal flu vaccine. Additionally, individuals may receive the vaccine through one of two ways: (1) the FluMist,, a live attenuated nasal vaccine or (2) Alfuria, an inactivated injectable vaccine. Vaccines will be distributed based on availability.
