tabTours and Orientation Flights

Base Tours
Base tours are offered on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays from March through November. We are currently taking reservations for 2012. Base tours provide the public the chance to learn about what goes on at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. Begin your tour process by filling out this application form.

Windshield Tours
Windshield tours offer the public to get a quick look at the base, it's mission partners and quality-of-life facilities. These tours ususally last about two hours and take place solely in a vehicle. This is a great oppurtunity to get a sense of what the base is like when a whole day option isn't availble.

Current availble tour dates are as follows:
March 14
April 11
June 13
July 11
August 8
September 12
October 10

Send us an e-mail to request a tour.

Orientation Flights
Orientation Flights are offered on a select Friday of each month and are granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Orientation flight stand-by requests are now being taken for 2012. To request an orientation flight, complete this form and submit it to the Joint Base Public Affairs office. Groups must meet the following requirements for tours and flights:

Age: All participants must be at least 13 years old.

Size: Minimum of 20 and a maximum of 40 participants (or the passenger capability of one commercial bus). Requests to split the tours into two days for larger groups will not be accommodated.

Transportation: Groups must provide their own transportation. Multiple vehicles are not an appropriate method of transportation and will not be accommodated.

TOUR ITINERARIES MAY BE ALTERED AT ANY TIME TO MEET MISSION REQUIREMENTS.
